Lake Zurich farmers market opens June 2

The Lake Zurich farmers market begins its season Friday, June 2, at Paulus Park, 200 S. Rand Road (Route 12).

The market runs from 3 to 7 p.m. every Friday, rain or shine, through Sept. 8. More than 25 vendors, those offering hot food and adult beverages, are available. Each week, pet rescues will showcase local animals that need adoption.

The market also includes a rotating schedule of live musical acts, children's activities, and community artisans. All participating vegetable farmers are located within 200 miles of Lake Zurich.
