Skokie man identified as motorcyclist killed in Round Lake Beach crash

The 56-year-old motorcyclist killed Sunday morning in a collision with a Jeep in Round Lake Beach was identified by officials Monday.
Skokie resident David Paul died from blunt-force injuries he suffered in the crash, according to a news release Monday afternoon from the Lake County coroner's office.
Police said Paul was traveling north on Route 83 about 8 a.m. when the southbound Jeep attempted to turn left onto eastbound Engle Drive, leading to the collision.
Paul was pronounced dead at the scene.
The crash remains under investigation by Round Lake Beach Police and the Major Crash Assistance Team.
