Lake County Audubon seeks volunteers
Want to help birds and butterflies and enjoy the outdoors? Lake County Audubon Society is looking for volunteers to help monitor bird, plant and animal populations in the unique Waukegan Dune area, as part of its Sharing Our Shore program.
There also are opportunities to help at public outreach events, developing and delivering information, and storytelling programs about the natural world.
Anyone interested in volunteering or learning more should email lakecountyaudubonsociety@gmail.com. The Lake County Audubon Society's mission is education, conservation, and restoration of natural ecosystems focusing on birds and other wildlife and their habitats.
