Letter: Springfield priorities

Well, Springfield is at it again. Instead of addressing consolidated school districts, reduced levels of government and the pension issue, in particular the 3% escalator, they are worried about declawing cats and assorted other minor issues.

So, when are they going to address these issues? According to my latest tax bill, 75% goes to schools, which is important, but I am sure there can be measures taken to correct this, especially the overhead.
