The King Cobras, Rosemont's special needs drumline, performing for Local Schools on May 19

Rosemont's all-abilities and special needs drumline, the King Cobras, formed one year ago, and have since toured Greater Chicagoland entertaining hundreds of audiences with their energetic performances.

On May 19th, they will be entertaining local audiences during Maine Township's special needs field day celebration. This will include presentations during five different classes at Maine East high school, as well as a field day performance.

The King Cobras Drumline is within the Cavaliers Arts, Performance, & Education, Inc., organization, which also includes the Cavaliers Drum and Bugle Corps. King Cobras is open to all ages and all ability levels, including those with special needs. The group performs over recordings of popular songs, and their enthusiasm and excitement is contagious.

This upcoming winter, their staff has been invited to a national convention to teach band directors all over the country how to start a similar program, as this has been such a success. The King Cobras are a special part of Rosemont and they look forward to sharing their performance energy with the community next week!
