Letter: Work to prevent all child killings

On May 1, Marline Fanning wrote, "gunshot wounds, are the leading killer of our children in this country." This is not true at all. Although gunshot children are tragic deaths, abortions kill more children every day. I cannot fathom a society that speaks out on the cause of death on one child while ignoring the others. Any child's death should be consider unspeakable. And all should be prevented.
