District 62 election winners to be sworn in Monday

Newly elected members of the Des Plaines Elementary District 62 school board will be sworn in during Monday night's board meeting. Incumbents Elizabeth Massa, Beth Morley and Tina Garrett retained their seats in last month's election, holding off challengers Gene Haring and Patrick Maag. Morley has been on the board since 2015. Garrett has been on the board since 2017. Massa was appointed to the board in 2021. Monday's session is set for 7 p.m. at Forest Elementary School, 1375 Fifth Ave.
