Nobody injured in bathroom fire in Naperville
Nobody was hurt in a fire Thursday morning in an apartment fire in Naperville.
A resident called at 9:08 a.m. to report a fire in the bathroom of a unit in the 1600 block of Westminster Drive. A fire alarm and smoke detectors alerted the residents.
Firefighters were able to put it out with an extinguisher.
Fire officials believe it started in an exhaust fan.
Damage was estimated at $15,000. The residents can continue living in the unit, which is in a two-story wood-framed building.
