Letter: Stop senseless killing

So, my question to all the gun advocates who claim that gun violence is a mental health issue. When are we going to see the information related to the mental health of the man who shot a young Black man through a storm door and the homeowner who shot a young white woman from his porch, who was a passenger in a car that happened to turn into his driveway to turn around? Where are the voices telling us that these people suffered mental health issues? You do a disservice to those struggling with mental health issues when you try to lump everyone into one category.

Just like people who try to lump responsible gun owners into the crowd that claims that assault weapons are a necessity. The senseless killing needs to stop. The senseless killing must stop.
