Des Plaines' community garage sale set for May 5-7

Des Plaines' annual community garage sale is set to run May 5-7.

To be included on the city's interactive garage sale map, sign up by 5 p.m. May 2. The map will be available starting May 3. Participation is free.

Selling is permitted from 8 a.m. to sunset each day, rain or shine. Residents can display items on their front lawns or driveways.
