Hoof Woof & Meow Animal Rescue has new location in Elgin

For over 10 years, Hoof Woof & Meow Animal Rescue has been saving animals to give them a second chance at life.

The 100%-foster and volunteer-based rescue has a new office located at 440-J Airport Road in Elgin.

All of the animals that are rescued reside in foster homes where they receive necessary medical care which includes vaccines, wellness exams, and spaying or neutering. If an animal has other known medical issues, we will do what we can to provide the care they need. These situations can prove very costly which is why we rely on our community.

Many of the animals rescuef have never been in a home, so we give them a lot of love and time to settle in while we learn about their personality and what their likes and dislikes are. This allows us to place them with the right family for their happily-ever-after.

The rescue operates on adoption fees (which don't always cover the medical costs of every animal), fundraising, and donations.

You can check out the website at hoofwoofmeow.org to learn more, sign up to foster or volunteer, donate, or check out the available animals.

Follow facebook.com/HoofWoofMeowAnimalRescue to follow our stories on the fosters and view upcoming events.

Save the date for our largest event of the year, Woofstock, on Sunday, June 25, in East Dundee.
