St. Charles to host Arbor Day celebration April 29

The St. Charles Natural Resources Commission is celebrating Arbor Day at Pottawatomie Park on Saturday, April 29.

Before the event, all are welcome to come out to help clean up Pottawatomie Park.

The annual Arbor Day celebration will begin at 11:30 a.m., and will include free perennials, a tree raffle, music, light refreshments, and tree-related programs.

Volunteer to help clean up beautiful Pottawatomie Park, 8 North Ave.

It is a great way to support your community, earn high school volunteer hours, or just enjoy the outdoors. Meet at the pavilion at 9:30 a.m. The Arbor Day celebration will begin after the clean-up at 11:30 a.m.
