Letters: Climate coverage welcome

Whenever I see Jenny Whidden's byline, I always make hers the first story I read in the Daily Herald. I also share her writing. Her March 15 Page 1 article headlined "Farmers adapt ...", I plan to send to several downstate farmers I know who might find farmland restoration info helpful and informative.

Whidden's March 23 Page 1 story about pollinators, illustrated with a fabulous large color photo of a Monarch butterfly on a purple-flowered plant, is headed toward several gardeners I know who are concerned about the environment. Perhaps the DuPage Monarch Project will inspire other gardeners and communities to create similar butterfly-or-insect friendly habitats.

Whidden's stories, supported by The Nature Conservancy, are timely and informative. I'm glad the Daily Herald is publishing her articles.
