Herman leads in Oak Brook president race

Oak Brook Trustee Laurence Herman is in the lead to become the village's next president.

As of 8 p.m., unofficial results showed he had 688 votes. Fellow trustees Ari Yusuf had 602, and A. Suresh Reddy had 213.

Gopal Lalmalani decided against seeking a fourth term.
