Police seek info about Villa Park tobacco shop robbery
Villa Park police are investigating the armed robbery of a tobacco store.
Tobacco Hut, 543 E. St. Charles Road, was robbed by three people at 11:45 a.m. Tuesday, police said.
One armed with a handgun forced the store clerk to get on the floor, then tied the person up.
The suspects stole cash and merchandise, then headed east on St. Charles Road in a brown or bronze GMC Terrain with an Illinois temporary dealer plate 7750A.
