The Oswego Area Chamber hosted the first ribbon cutting at its new offices on March 2 for Graciously Made. Graciously Made makes charcuterie arrangements, grazing tables and teaches classes on making charcuterie arrangements. The Schaumburg Business Association helped cut the ribbon on the brand new Sweet Orange Pancake House & Cafe alongside Village President Tom Dailly, Trustees George Dunham, Brian Bieschke, Jamie Clare, and Esha Patel. With Village Clerk Marilyn Carr, SBA President Lisa Gilbert, SBA Board Members and ambassadors. Visit them at 933 S. Roselle Road in Schaumburg.
The Hampshire Area Chamber of Commerce celebrated a ribbon cutting at Hampshire Social, 124 S. State Street, Hampshire. Owners Brandon and Danielle Roberts and Amanda and Chris Jones cut the ribbon at their location on March 20 with friends and many chamber members present.
The Naperville Area Chamber of Commerce celebrated a ribbon cutting for My Gym of Aurora/Naperville, 4008 Fox Valley Center Drive in Aurora on March 16. The ceremony was facilitated with esteemed ambassadors and community members, as well as civic leaders.
The Geneva Chamber of Commerce held a ribbon cutting for Altiro Latin Fusion, 308 Anderson Blvd., Geneva on March 19 to celebrate 10 years in business. Geneva Mayor Kevin Burns held the ribbon while husband and wife owners Erika Villanueva and Roberto Avila cut the ribbon surrounded by family, friends, staff and Geneva Chamber members.
The Batavia Chamber of Commerce celebrated Batavia Chamber member Precisely Practical with a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Tuesday, March 21. The event was held on the steps of the Batavia Chamber's office, 106 W. Wilson St. in Batavia. The Geneva Chamber of Commerce staff joined in the event. Batavia Mayor Jeffery Schielke presided over the celebration, along with the owner and Batavia resident Michelle Frediani. Also attending were her husband, James, along with daughter Kayla Frediani and grandson Nick. Among the well-wishers were Batavia Chamber President and CEO Margaret Perreault; Shirley Mott, communications and membership coordinator; and Lori Botterman, City of Batavia communications manager. Also present were Batavia Chamber board president Jamie Saam along with chamber ambassadors, family members and friends.
Elmhurst real estate agent Eva Sanchez was honored as 2022 Ambassador of the Year at the Elmhurst Chamber of Commerce and Industry's 104th annual Awards Gala in the Presidential Room at Elm West Banquets on March 10. The award is presented annually to a member of the green-coated Chamber Ambassadors for his/her outstanding service.
