The Geneva Chamber of Commerce held a ribbon cutting for GVN Performance, 1996 S. Kirk Road, Geneva, on March 10. Geneva Mayor Kevin Burn and Jake Nitsche, director of performance, held the ribbon while owners Gabby and Brian Galivan cut the ribbon. The ribbon cutting at Keeping Families Covered was hosted in conjunction with the McHenry Chamber of Commerce on March 1 at their warehouse at 4138 W. Orleans Street. About 100 people joined the team throughout the day for the ribbon cutting and open house event that evening. This location is the second for Keeping Families Covered, as they have taken over this space previously occupied by The Diaper Bank of Northern Illinois, one of the first National Diaper Bank Network (NDBN) members. Executive Director, Phyllis Mueller was in attendance and is pictured with Founder of Keeping Families Covered, Ann Marie Mathis.

The Barrington Area Chamber of Commerce and Arboretum management gathered for a ribbon-cutting ceremony on March 14 to celebrate the opening of Dawg Park Gourmet Grill, located at 100 W. Higgins Rd., Suite L-60 in The Arboretum of South Barrington. Attendees at the Dawg Park ribbon-cutting ceremony were (l-r): Julie Mayer (Advocate Good Shepherd Hospital); Suzanne Corr (Barrington Area Chamber of Commerce); Mark and Patchwipa (May) Kobylinski (Dawg Park); Cory Born and Stacy Kallas (The Arboretum of South Barrington); and Steve Wilson (CBIZ, Inc.).
The Oswego Area Chamber of Commerce recently held a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony for 5 E Jackson St Art Studios. 5 E Jackson St Art Studios is a partnership formed by Studio 60 & Fox River Academy of Music & Art sharing spaces to teach art classes from youth through adults at this location.
On March 14 the Oswego Area Chamber of Commerce hosted a Ribbon cutting ceremony at our offices for Athena Hybrid Academy. Athena will be offering classes starting this summer at their location.
