Naperville VFW fish fry benefits West Suburban Community Pantry

Members of the Belgio's catering team packaged hot fish dinners complete with vegetables, mashed potatoes, and gravy for customers of West Suburban Community Pantry in Woodridge last Thursday, following cancellation of the Naperville VFW Friday Fish Fry due to low attendance.

The Judd Kendall Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 3873 and Belgio's donated over 400 dinners for distribution.

The Pantry was recipient of the fish dinners last year as well when the Post cancelled due to COVID.

"We are pleased to give people in need a hot quality meal," says Tim Belgio, president of Belgio's Catering. "This was a great way to make the most out of a tough situation."
