Letter: District improvements would help children

I have lived in Prospect Heights since I began having my children. I experienced this district first as a parent and then as a teacher working there from 1992 until I retired in 2016,

As a parent, I was very pleased with the education my children received. It was a unique opportunity to get to also experience this district as an employee. I was just as impressed with the school district when I got to know it as a teacher.

I would give my full support to all of their requests. What they are proposing would enhance what District 23 can offer their students. Improving facilities to make them more safe and secure, adding space to be able to offer full day kindergarten and adding more support staff are all needed.

They would all improve the children's learning experiences District 23 is able to offer. All of these would also ultimately serve to protect your property values.

Please show your support and vote yes for District 23.
