Enjoy the Irish-themed festivities at the St. Charles St. Patrick's Parade
The St. Charles St. Patrick's Day Parade is a part of a variety of festive St. Patrick-themed activities taking place around town on Saturday, March 11.
The day kicks off with an opening ceremony on the 1st Street Plaza at 11 a.m.
The ceremony will feature Irish dancers, and an array of entertainment to enjoy.
The parade will step off at Main and Sixth streets at 2 p.m. and continue down Main Street to conclude at Fourth Avenue. Experience the sounds of the Bagpipers, listen to local award-winning marching bands, watch the elaborate and colorful floats, and appreciate everything that this annual St. Charles Irish tradition has to offer.
Be sure to stop by this year's Lucky Photo Station and take a festive photo. The Photo Station will be located across from Pollyanna Brewing Company at Riverside Avenue and Illinois Street and will stay up through March 17.

There will also be a St. Patrick-themed Scavenger Hunt, sponsored by McGrath Honda, hosted on the Travel St. Charles App. To participate, individuals must locate four-leaf clovers hidden inside of participating downtown St. Charles businesses, and "check-into" each stop on the app using the code written on them. Once an individual has "checked-into" seven stops, they will be entered to win a "pot-of-gold" valued at $100.
The list of businesses and the Scavenger Hunt can be found on the Travel St. Charles App under the "Challenges" tab on the day of the event. Three winners will be selected live on Monday, March 13, on the St. Charles Business Alliance's Facebook account, and will be notified via email.
