Letter: Free speech has consequences

It didn't take long to blame liberal mobs, cancel culture and limiting freedom of speech for Dilbert being dropped.

This isn't a First Amendment issue - the government didn't limit Scott Adams' speech.

Just as a published cartoonist/podcaster has a right to his opinion, private citizens and media outlets have a right to theirs.

Words and actions have consequences. If Mr. Adams' words result in a loss of his comics' circulation, that is on him. There are no victims here.
