DuPage County debuts new website

DuPage County has launched a new, easier-to-navigate website at DuPageCounty.gov.

The redesigned website replaces a previous version that was more than 10 years old, said Yeena Yoo, chair of the county board's technology committee.

"We are thrilled to unveil this fresh, new site which utilizes updated design and technology that is more intuitive for the user and provides us valuable data so that we can continuously improve the site," Yoo said in a statement.

The county's website typically attracts 1.8 million visitors each year. The website overhaul has removed redundant information and streamlined content, reducing the number of webpages from 1,659 to 963. Each page features designated accessibility menus so people with disabilities can navigate the site more easily.

The county board used $390,000 in federal funds from the American Rescue Plan Act for the website redesign.
