Letter: Better listening needed

Bob Lowth's Fencepost letter of Feb. 17 in response to a previous letter by another reader that called for making guns illegal is exactly the kind of hysterical, nonsensical diatribe that makes it hard to have a reasoned discussion on important issues in this country. When we can all listen more and stop with the knee-jerk reactions, perhaps we'll discover viable solutions to pressing problems.
