Letter: An unprecedented show of disrespect
I agree with the Wheaton writer who, in her Feb. 15 letter titled "Signs of disrespect," that Pelosi was wrong to tear up Trump's State of the Union speech. She states that there was "not a mention of this" in a previous letter writer's submission. But how convenient that the Wheaton writer made no mention of a far greater and completely unprecedented sign of disrespect - when defeated Trump refused to attend the inauguration of President Biden. At least Pelosi had the courtesy to attend Trump's appearance before Congress.
