Two area companies declare dividends

Motorola Solutions Inc. and Lake Forest-based Packaging Corp. of America have approved quarterly stock dividends.

The board of directors of Chicago-based Motorola Solutions has approved a regular quarterly dividend of 88 cents per share. The dividend will be payable in cash on April 14 to shareholders of record at the close of business on March 15.

Packaging Corp. of America's board has approved a regular quarterly dividend of $1.25 per share on its common stock. Its quarterly dividend will also be paid to shareholders of record as of March 15 with a payment date of April 14.

Motorola Solutions is a global provider of land mobile radio communications, video security and access control systems, security command center software and related management and support services.

Packaging Corp. is the third largest producer of cardboard container products and a leading producer of uncoated free-sheet paper in North America. It operates eight paper mills and 89 corrugated products plants and related facilities.
