PHC Corp. launches new ultralow temperature freezers

WOOD DALE - PHC Corp. of North America said it has launched a new series of ultralow temperature freezers for use in facilities such as medical institutions, universities and pharmaceutical companies.

The new freezers offer enhanced energy-saving performance while improving security and usability, the company said.

Advances in pharmaceutical and life sciences research continue to increase the global demand for ultralow temperature freezers, PHC said. mRNA vaccine research and storage, cell and gene therapy development, pharmaceutical development, and storage of samples for therapeutic advances all require accurate, dependable and secure preservation equipment.

PHC's PHCbi brand of cell preservation and growth products now includes four models in its VIP ECO SMART ultralow temperature freezer series.

"The new VIP ECO SMART represents years of design research and innovation, building upon PHCbi's history of excellence in supporting advances in life science research and health, said Hans Brok, president of PHC.
