Cooking Skills & Social, formerly known as Cooking Skills Academy, is joined by Itasca Mayor Jeff Pruyn and the staff, board and ambassadors for Greater O'Hare Regional Business Association on Feb. 17 to celebrate the relaunch and rebrand under new ownership and management with a ribbon-cutting ceremony.
The Batavia Chamber of Commerce celebrated the grand opening of Casey's with a ribbon cutting ceremony on Feb. 17. Their Batavia location, 2074 Main Street, is the newest addition to the growing Chicagoland presence for the Ankeny, Iowa-based corporation. Batavia Mayor Jeffery Schielke presided over the celebration along with representatives of Casey's. The Batavia store's manager is McKenna Mosley. Piearre Jackson is the assistant manager and Lydia Perez is the kitchen manager. Also present were District Manager Brian Miller and several other store managers and employees. Among the well-wishers were Patti Anselme, special events coordinator for the Batavia Chamber of Commerce, and Shirley Mott, chamber communications and membership coordinator along with Batavia city staff members, Batavia chamber board members and ambassadors, fellow chamber members and friends and family.
The Elgin Area Chamber staff and volunteer Ambassadors celebrated the grand opening of the new European Wax Center located at 506 Randall Road in South Elgin.
Even in the snow the Schaumburg Business Association was honored to help cut the ribbon on new Graze Craze. Village President Tom Dailly, Village Trustees George Dunham and Brian Bieschke, Village Clerk Marilyn Karr and SBA ambassadors and members attended at 1437 W. Schaumburg Road.
