Letter: Angels, demons and politicians
Over the past couple weeks, I have read, with question, the verbal debate over political leadership and the untruths they tell, more accurately stated as lies.
I find it very curious that there seems to be a judgment of lying based up "degree" of lying. I spent time reviewing my youth attendance in Bible study class and do not recall that there is a measure of "degree" of lying that comes into play. Did yours?
A liar, is a liar, is a liar - no exceptions. One side angels verses the other side devils in the political arena? Wake up.
As a couple of examples, do you really think that the right wishes to end Social Security/Medicare or are heartless to lower income folks or will stop borrowed spending? Do you really believe the left's claim that fossil regulatory energy policy has no impact on inflation or that the southern border is closed or they are not control freaks or the economic balance of supply and demand is only demand?
Your choice, but I suggest we not be lemmings with blind support for a chosen political flavor. All politicians and their administrations speak with forked tongues on a daily basis.
Whether it be the current or past leaders and their administrations or complicit media sources, you are hearing close to 70% deceptive wording, half-truths and good portions of flat out lying that taints your perception and understanding of what is going down.
Please open your eyes to reclaim your freedoms and independent mind. Realize each side has their own agenda, of which you only hear the parts they wish for you to hear and in the manner they wish for you to hear it.
Neither side is the "end all" angelic source. In fact, both might very well qualify for devilship.
