Letter: Tackle the safety net for Social Security

I agree wholeheartedly with Ned Ricks recent comment on Social Security wage limits. The limit now is currently at $160,200.

People earning more than that amount can easily save for retirement. Even if after $160,000 in earnings, a decrease scale from the 7.65% scale is introduced. This is not rocket science but our lawmakers are too lazy to tackle the safety net for Social Security. Wake up, Washington.
