Why did the Herald print the Byron York column repeating the conspiracy theory that "Hunter Biden is selling access to information" he obtained from documents at the Biden residence?

It is bad enough that we have election-denying Trump disciples Maria Bartiromo, Ron Johnson and Ted Cruz on Fox News selling this conspiracy cooked up by Miranda Devine in her book "Laptop from Hell." Why is the Herald now adding this piece from Bryon York, another Trump election denier, to the increasing pile of MAGA propaganda?
