Naperville Police Department accepting applications for Citizen Police Academy

The Naperville Police Department is accepting applications for its spring Citizen Police Academy.

The 10-week program will be, located at 1350 Aurora Ave., from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. every Wednesday.

Class size is limited to 24 participants. Applicants must be 18 years old and either reside or work in Naperville. A criminal-background check is conducted on each applicant.

Interested candidates should print and complete the application and waiver found at www.naperville.il.us/cpa, and return the signed documents no later than Tuesday. Applications should be emailed to Jim Pacetti at pacettij@naperville.il.us, faxed to (630) 305-7004, or sent through the mail or delivered in person to the Naperville Police Department.
