Holy Trinity vicar to share about trip to the Holy Land
This January Vicar Andrea Delaney of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church in Elgin departed on a two-week visit to fascinating sites in the Holy Land. The trip was a part of her seminary education.
Starting Jan. 3, she visited various sites including Bethlehem, Dead Sea, Sea of Galilee, Jordan River, Nazareth, Jerusalem, Mount of Olives, Temple Mount, Al Aqsa Mosque, and the Garden Tomb.
After she returns on Jan. 18, she will be sharing much of what she saw and learned over the coming months in her work within the congregation.
