Letter: Columnist adds to nation's divisions
Your Opinion page columnist Byron York is a continuing antagonist with his political articles.
As anyone can judge by his own writing, he always finds clever ways with his wording to denounce the complete Washington, D.C., Democratic Party, especially the president and vice president.
He furthermore has the gall with complete disrespect for the House Select Committee to Investigate the January 6 Attack on the United States Capitol, again, using cleverly chosen phrases to denounce their findings.
Have you looked at his historical background of publications? Every single article he writes is anti-Democratic.
It truly displeases me to see this type of continued sly rhetoric in your publication, which promotes his one-sided commentaries adding fuel to the fire for dividing our country.
Just as you have a 300-word limit to your welcomed reader comments, I suggest you consider the same for your paid political Opinion page commentaries.
I recommend that you counsel him, as well as any political writer, not to encourage such continuous antagonistic writing which is clearly one-sided - in his case very anti-Democratic - adding further division to our country.
