Letter: Guns and rights

A writer's letter to the editor regarding guns in the Monday, Dec, 12, Daily Herald was of note. I'm being selective in my retort to his lengthy opinion as to guns, the problems/concerns with same today in America.

I'm specifically addressing one sentence from that dialog. The gentleman states that "owning a gun is a right."

Sir, myself, my family, school kids and everyone in America also have a right. The right not to be shot or killed by someone with a gun, AK-15/47 or otherwise.
