Rotary Club of Palatine is now accepting 2023 allocation applications
The Rotary Club of Palatine is currently accepting applications from local community organizations for possible donations from the club as part of its annual allocation program.
Organizations applying for funding from the Rotary Club of Palatine should support the Palatine community directly and be tax exempt under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue code. All applications will be considered for funding, but funding is not guaranteed.
Money to be distributed was raised during the 2022 Oktoberfest celebration held the weekend of Sept. 16-18 in downtown Palatine.
"We had an excellent Oktoberfest this year, allowing us to meaningfully support organizations that serve the people of our community," said Chuck Young, president of the Rotary Club of Palatine.
"It's a great feeling to be part of an organization that can give back so much, especially when so many families and individuals are in need of assistance."
Rotary must receive applications from organizations interested in a charitable allocation no later than Jan. 20. Applications are available at the Rotary Club of Palatine's website, palatinerotary.org.
Applications can be emailed to allocations@palatinerotary.org. Printed copies can be mailed to: Rotary Club of Palatine Allocation Committee, P.O. Box 412, Palatine, IL 60078.
Young encourages interested men and women of the Palatine community to learn more about Rotary.
"Those interested in joining our dynamic service organization are welcome to come and hear more about the good work that Rotary does, both in our community and around the globe, at one of our weekly meetings," said Young.
"If you would like to attend a meeting, please email us at info@palatinerotary.com and we'll provide the details."
