Letter: Stop voting by party

Now that the mid-term elections are over, I hope in the future we do not vote only for parties, whether it is Republican, Democrat, Libertarian, whatever. Your votes should be guided by the issues. Decide if you are for or against woke-ism, free speech, voter ID, cashless bail, defunding the police, paying off student loans, MAGA, illegal immigration, drag queen story hours, allowing shoplifting up to a certain dollar amount, abortion, eliminating all fossil fuels, mandating vaccines, reparations for slavery, allowing biological males to compete in women's sports, forbidding parents from having a say in school programs, and whatever other issues are important to you.
