Celebrate the miracle of Christmas at St. Catherine of Siena
The faithful are welcome to the preparation and celebration of the miracle of the Christ child's birth at St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church in West Dundee and St. Mary in Gilberts.
"Let us strengthen our families, parish and community by gathering together this Christmas by centering on Christ with the peace and tranquility of Holy Mass," said the Rev. John McNamara, pastor at St. Catherine of Siena Church and St. Mary in Gilberts.
A communal penance service will be held at St. Catherine of Siena Church on Tuesday, Dec. 20 at 7 p.m.
Mass schedules for St. Catherine of Siena Church in West Dundee are:
Christmas Eve - Saturday, Dec. 24
• 8 a.m. daily morning Mass
• 4, 6 p.m. and midnight Midnight Mass (with incense).
Christmas Day Mass - Sunday, Dec. 25:
• 7:30, 9:30 a.m. (with incense) and 11:30 a.m. Mass
Mass schedule for Christmas Day at St. Mary, Gilberts on Sunday, Dec. 25:
• 9 a.m. (with incense).
On New Year's Eve on Saturday, Dec. 31, St. Catherine of Siena Church will hold a 4:30 p.m. Mass, and on New Year's Day, the Solemnity of Mary feast day, Mass will be at 7:30, 9:30 and 11:30 a.m. There will be a 9 a.m. Mass at St. Mary in Gilberts.
