Look, this is not one of our favorites or even a name that made it onto our Nice List, but if you want a movie that blends newspapers and Christmas, this 2020 Lifetime formula flick sends an ambitious reporter to Alaska to save a dying newspaper. And wouldn't you know it, "this close to the North Pole," people want to read about Christmas. For the most part, the cast is not famous, but Marie Osmond plays the amoral head of a media conglomerate who's more interested in dollars than journalism. It's available on several livestream platforms; we viewed it for free with our Prime subscription.
