Letter: Let Trump and the process play out

President Donald Trump wants to take another crack at living in the White House. Immediately all sort of comments hit the social media airwaves. He's toxic, he's great, he can't win, he'll win in a landslide. The comments could go on for six or seven newspaper columns. So my comment is, "Stop."

Folks, let the process playout. He as well as anyone else can declare to run for office. It's his money and contributor money. If you want to support him, fine. If you don't want to support him, that's fine as well. Let the Republican Party accept the will of their voters.

If he wins all the primaries, he'll be on the ballot. If he doesn't win the primaries, he'll go back to Florida and watch from the sidelines.

As I recall, that's the way the process works. So stop with all the commentaries already.

The election is two years away, let's see what happens. If you don't care to listen, change the channel and watch quiz show reruns. You will feel much better in the long run.
