Letter: Take a breath; let Trump candidacy play out

Former President Donald Trump wants to take another crack at living in the White House. Immediately all sort of comments hit social media:

He's toxic, he's great, he can't win, he'll win in a landslide.

Folks, let the process play out. He, as well as anyone else, can declare to run for office. If you want to support him, fine. If you don't, that's fine as well. Let the Republican Party accept the will of its voters.

If he wins the primaries, he'll be on the ballot. If not, he'll go back to Florida and watch from the sidelines.

The election is two years away, so let's see what happens. If you don't care to listen, change the channel. You'll feel better in the long run.
