Fireworks welcome Santa at Elk Grove tree lighting

On Friday, Nov. 25, Elk Grove Village's 24th annual Holiday Tree Lighting will kick off the holiday season on the Village Green. This year's lineup will include a performance from New Colony Six and the arrival of Santa Clause.

After New Colony Six's performance, Mayor Craig B. Johnson will join them on stage to flip the switch to light up the holiday tree, Municipal Complex, Elk Grove Public Library and Elk Grove Park District Pavilion, which will consist of over 250,000 lights.
