Wheeling restaurant gets municipal grant for new signs
A Wheeling restaurant has been awarded a municipal grant to help pay for new signs and minor interior work.
Meat & Potato Urban Kitchen, 403 W. Dundee Road, will get $27,400 from the village through its Restaurant and Retail Build-out Assistance Program, the village board decided Monday.
Through that effort, business owners or property owners are reimbursed for up to half a project's cost.
The work will cost the restaurant's owners more than $84,000, documents indicate.
The grant was approved without objection.
