In "A Christmas Chaos," the Royal Shakespeare Company is on its way to the theater to perform Charles Dickens' "A Christmas Carol," but snow and other problems cause them to be delayed and they cannot perform as planned.
The local theater group now has to figure out what to do. The tickets have already been sold and the audience will be coming in the doors soon. What now happens is the beginning of an evening of chaos as egos, forgotten lines and forgotten props all lend to the madness.
"A Christmas Chaos" is being directed for the Elgin Theatre Company by Julie Price.
Theatergoers can park on Division Street, as well as in the city of Elgin parking lot on the corner of Division and Douglas streets and in the city parking deck at the corner of Spring Street and Highland Avenue.
