Letter: A solid, well thought-out plan for school district

As a 25-year resident of Palatine, I have been an active volunteer in the school community for most of those years. I am eager to see the proposed CCSD15 referendum pass in November - but that cannot happen without your support.

I am asking for your commitment to vote for this referendum request on Nov. 8. Without your vote, the referendum could fail - and if it does - none of these initiatives will be completed, which would be a tragic disservice to the children in our community.

Please make a plan to get out and vote yes for 15. It doesn't matter if you vote early or vote in person on Nov. 8 - as long as you get out and vote.

Now is not the time for apathy and assumptions - now is the time to commit to investing in a solid, well thought-out plan, that is good for the children and our community.

I hope you will join me in showing your support and vote yes for 15 by Nov. 8.
