Fortune Brands to take new name
DEERFIELD — Fortune Brands Home & Security Inc. intends to change its name to Fortune Brands Innovations Inc. after the upcoming separation of its MasterBrand Cabinets business, which includes the Mantra, Diamond and Omega brands and more.
As part of this new identity and direction, the company said it will soon introduce a new logo and corresponding new New York Stock Exchange ticker symbol, FBIN, to replace FBHS.
Fortune Brands, headquartered in Deerfield, is a Fortune 500 company and a leader in the home products industry. Its brands include Moen and the House of Rohl faucets in its Water Innovations division; and outdoor living and security products from Therma-Tru, Larson, Fiberon, Master Lock and SentrySafe.
“The upcoming separation marks a new beginning for our company, enabling an increased focus on brands, innovation and channel leadership, and accelerated growth and productivity,” said Chief Executive Officer Nicholas Fink.
“More than ever before, we will be uniquely positioned to capture and create opportunities in exciting supercharged categories, such as water management, connected products, outdoor living, and material conversion and science,” he said.
