Lake County accepting nonprofit requests for COVID relief funds

Lake County is accepting program, service and other funding requests from nonprofit groups and local governments other than municipalities to aid in the response and recovery from the COVID-19 pandemic.

Officials are looking to use remaining federal pandemic relief money to support strategic investments that will benefit residents for years to come. Funding will be provided as a reimbursement unless a case is established for upfront funds. Requests will be accepted through Oct. 31.

To qualify, organizations must provide services within Lake County, be eligible for federal COVID relief money, and submit a program or service that is valued at $50,000 or more.
