NaperLights holiday display will open Thanksgiving weekend

The Rotary Club of Naperville Sunrise will open its NaperLights holiday display on Thanksgiving weekend along Water Street and on the south side of the Riverwalk in downtown Naperville.

The light display, which was a gift to the community from the Rotary Club, features 150,000 lights and a collection of lighted holiday figures that can be viewed from Webster Street, including the covered bridge, and Main Street. Parking is available in the Water Street garage and Municipal Center parking deck.

Santa will be on hand on Friday and Saturday evenings beginning Dec. 2. A giant Christmas bear will provide a perfect photo opportunity for families.

NaperLights is sponsored by a grant from the city's SECA Fund. Marquette Cos. and Ryan Hill Group are lead sponsors in addition to Naperville Bank and Trust and Gerald Cares.
