Trucks, Trunks & Treats Saturday in Vernon Hills

The Vernon Hills Park District is hosting Trucks, Trunks & Treats from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 15.

All the big trucks and their operators will be on hand to dispense treats at the Family Aquatic Center, 633 N. Aspen Drive.

Kids should wear a costume and bring a trick-or-treat bag. Dress up your family pet, too (leashes required).

The fee is $3. Only children need to register at https://www.vhparkdistrict.org/.

Also, Vernon Hills residents can receive up to 10 gallons of compost per household, while supplies last. Bring a bucket to fill.
