Westlake Middle School Takes 3rd

The Westlake Middle School boys soccer team took 3rd place at the ACSI Regional soccer tournament in Kankakee, Illinois this past Fri/Sat. They lost to Judah middle school out of Champaign, Il. on penalty kicks in the first round Friday afternoon. The next day, Saturday, they bounced back, winning 1-0 against the 2nd seed and host Kankakee Trinity Academy. In the 3rd place consolation game they faced Judah again,this time scoring two goals and taking home the 3rd place trophy 2-0!
