Car strikes pedestrian in Gurnee

The pedestrian, a 38-year-old man whose name was not released, was taken to Advocate Condell Medical Center in Libertyville. The driver of the Honda was not injured, police said.

Delany Road between Route 41 and Grove Road was closed in both directions during the crash response. No tickets have been issued, and the crash remains under investigation.
